Volleyball fundraiser held at Rita’s

On Monday Sep. 24, Sunrise volleyball hosted a fundraiser night at Rita’s to raise money for their team. The event lasted from 7-9 p.m. and the turnout was successful.

“[The people who showed up] were mostly varsity players but there were a few freshmen there,” freshman player Jenn Ramirez said.

The team received 20% of all of the proceeds they made, which was very helpful for the whole team.
