SMHS theatre members provide Christmas spirit
Sunrise Mountain’s Theatre will be showing “A Christmas Carol”. It will be the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and the three ghosts that come visit him on Christmas Eve. According to the Theatre teacher Tanya Boehme, the play will be worth your time.
“It’ll have great acting, and we have a lot of talent,” Boehme said. “A very strong cast too, with lots of experience on the stage. We also have a wonderful costume designer so the costumes will be correct to the time period!”
The cast is a large one, with Andrew Reay playing the lead role of Scrooge. In preparation for “A Christmas Carol”, the cast has been practicing three days a week.
“Rehearsals are always a good time,” Boehme said. “Lots of funny things happen.”
With Christmas approaching fast, this play is made for holiday spirit. The members have put hard work into designing, constructing, and preparing this performance for viewer’s pleasure. All the students and teachers that took part into creating this production would appreciate your support, and are aimed towards showing a great play to get you in the Christmas groove.
“Come see the show, it’ll definitely be worth your time!” Boehme said.
If you’re interested in seeing this show, performances will be Nov. 7-10, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will $5.00 per person.
