Owl City releases new singles, discusses new album in live stream

UPDATE: The album, entitled The Midsummer Station, will be released Aug. 14.

Owl City front man Adam Young has revealed news about his upcoming summer album.

On Tuesday, April 17, a new song by Young, entitled Dementia, surfaced on the internet, sparking rumors of his untitled album due late summer.

The song features front man Mark Hoppus of Blink-182, and is described to have more of a rock-reliant sound for the band.

In his live stream on Friday, April 20, Young released a quick bit of information about his upcoming album and officially gave viewers a listen at the new track following the short broadcast.

On May 15, Young released the EP Shooting Star on iTunes with four tracks from the upcoming album, including Dementia and Shooting Star.

The album has yet to be given a release date or a title, but is expected to hit stores towards the end of the summer.
