World Language Fair held at SMHS

The World Language Fair was held Friday, May 4, at Sunrise Mountain. Schools from the Peoria School District gathered to compete in Spanish, German, French and American Sign Language.
Cactus High School took first place overall, while Sunrise Mountain took second place overall. The German III-IV team including Emily Clark, Alex Matic, Nick Giancola and Hayley Mckeever took the German III-IV Trophy.
Junior and German II student Michaela Slezak won the B.L.A.S.T. Talent Show for her song performance.

this is entirely wrong. SMHS German level II won the trophy. German IV did not win in their category. and i also did not win the talent contest. i got third place.
