TV shows to tune into this year

Click, click, and click. What is on television today? Let us be honest here, sometimes there is just nothing interesting to watch.

Here are a few of the TV shows [in no particular order] that have been popular throughout 2012:

The lifetime television hit TV show, Dance Moms, is a favorite amongst juniors Jensen Cline and Victoria Blum.

“[Dance Moms is my favorite television show] because it’s super funny and hysterical to watch,” Blum said.

Dance Moms is Cline’s favorite show because of her history with dance.

“I’ve been dancing for a long time,” Cline said. “So I like to watch it.”

The show features young girls, as well as their crazy moms, who dance in the studio of Abby Lee Miller’s Dance Company.

Cline and Blum give their reasons as to why they tune into this lifetime show.

“[People should watch Dance Moms] to watch the drama and laugh hysterically,” Blum said.

Cline enjoys the show for similar reasons, especially as a dancer.

“It’s entertaining especially if you like dance,” Cline said. “You can learn how to be better.”

Senior Thomas Creed watches another popular show, on CBS, titled Criminal Minds.

“[The show is about] these detectives who get called onto random crimes and solve murders,” Creed said.

As someone who does not watch television often, Creed found Criminal Minds to be the most appealing TV show currently airing.

“[Criminal Minds is my favorite television show] because it’s the only thing I find interesting really,” Creed said.
