Teachers awards students at the World Language Recognition Ceremony

On April 30, students in German and Spanish level II classes were recognized for their hard work and effort. Applause can be heard from outside the cafeteria as they applaud for one another. Spanish students recieved pins from Mr. Rodriguez and German students recieved certificates from Mr. Plombon.
Spanish teacher Mr. Miguel Palacios describes how teachers decide which student to award.
“Mainly, the decision was based on high percentages in their class but I also took into consideration their day to day performance and enthusiasm for Spanish,” Palacios said.
