Freshmen take Stanford 10

Every freshman in the district was required to take the Stanford 10 on Wed., April 11.

While juniors and seniors had a late start, freshman came to school at the regular time to take the exam. The Stanford 10 is just one in a long line of tests that measure reading comprehension as well as math and language skills.

β€œIt was actually way easier than I thought it was going to be. Very basic questions. Stuff I learned at the beginning of the year,” freshman Josh Yodice said. β€œI found myself flying through.”

The test is not timed and can only be taken once. There are no makeups for students who do not like their scores.
